• "I can't stop laughing, LOL" SHINee's Minho's surprise reaction to IVE Jang Wonyoung's Aegyo has gone viral

The gap between generations is clear!

Minho from SHINee recently went viral for a funny moment he had during a video call with one of the most famous members of the girl group fourth-gen!

SHINee is without a doubt one of the most famous K-Pop acts. This year was the group's fifteenth anniversary, which is a big accomplishment that only a few groups have ever reached.

K-Pop has changed since they first came out, and so have the ways fans choose to connect with idols. Fan calls didn't exist when SHINee first came out, and they didn't exist for most of their career.

When COVID-19 lockdowns started, K-Pop companies looked for ways for stars to interact with fans. This led to the idea of fan calls, which involve fans holding signs over video chatting platforms.

Fans often have their favorite acts do challenges from TikTok during the calls, which can lead to some pretty cute moments.

SHINee just came back with a new album called "Hard," and they did a few video calls to promote it.

A fan was talking to Minho when she tried to get him to do a dare by showing him a video of IVE's Jang Wonyoung doing it.

The video of Wonyoung doing the challenges shows the star holding her hands to her head like dog ears while talking to aegyo.

Minho seems sure at first that he can finish the challenge…

…but when he sees Wonyoung do her aegyo in a quick, well-timed way, his face changes into one of confusion.

Even after the fan showed him the video again, he didn't change his face at all. Funny enough, Minho doesn't even try to do the task at first. Instead, he sits back and looks like he's given up.

But Minho does finish the task, giving the monologue his own unique twist.

The video of the call has been seen more than 2.7 million times, and fans laugh at Minho's responses.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
