• Suzy wins 'Best Actress Award' at the '2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards' for her performance in 'Anna'

Actress Suzy won the honor of Best Actress in a Leading Role for her first solo starring work.

On July 19th, the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards (BSA) took place at Incheon Paradise City. On this day, the Blue Dragon Series Awards were hosted by broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo and singer-actress Lim Yoon-ah, continuing from last year.

In the drama category, Suzy was selected as the winner of the Best Actress in a Leading Role for her portrayal of Anna in the Coupang Play original series "Anna".

In the series, Anna, who grew tired of her exhausting life, becomes the object of envy for everyone as she starts living a completely opposite life, receiving attention from people. "Anna" depicts the story of a woman who ends up living a different person's life starting with a small lie.

Suzy said, "It's an honor just to be nominated alongside respected senior actors, and I am grateful to receive such a prestigious award. 'Anna' was a work that made me both excited and fearful, as it held a lot of ambitions. Therefore, the process of choosing and every moment of filming will be cherished and remain meaningful in my memory. I thank all the staff who worked hard for 'Anna' and created unforgettable moments on set. To my colleagues and senior actors who were with me, thank you for your hard work and guidance. I will treasure this award as a representative of everyone involved in 'Anna.'"

On another note, the Blue Dragon Series Awards is the first domestic series content awards ceremony that targets domestically released OTT dramas and entertainment shows from platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, Watcha, Wavve, KakaoTV, Coupang Play, and Tving.
