• Song Hye Kyo Slaps Back At Mean Comments Saying She Looks Old in "The Glory" In A Worth Praising Way

She answered the "criticism" right away.

The Glory, Song Hye Kyo's latest drama, swept the world as soon as it came out in late December 2022.

The first season of the show was at the top of the Netflix charts in more than one country, and it made such an impact that it sparked conversations about bullying all over the world.

Most fans thought that Song Hye Kyo and the rest of the cast did a good job in the show, but some internet users said that Song looked very old in the show.

In fact, people were saying she looked "old" even before the show started.

Before The Glory came out, during a press conference, there was a lot of talk on the internet about how Song looked.

Most fans would have preferred that these comments never got to the actress, but recently, Song Hye Kyo decided to give the people who were so focused on how "old" she looked a piece of her mind.

And she sure did it with style!

The actress recently put up on her Instagram a set of photos she took for Elle Korea. The photoshoot made her look stand out because she was able to pull off the colorful and trendy clothes with ease.

Elle Korea also did an interview with Song in which they asked her how she felt about the negative comments about how she looked in The Glory.

She replied that her character, Dong Eun, has had such a hard life that it wouldn't make sense for her to look very well-kept.

"Dongeun is a character in the story who has only had bad things happen to her her whole life. She hasn't been taking care of herself, so it wouldn't make sense to act like she has." Song Hye Kyo, Elle Korea

She took it a step further and spoke out about the personal comments that were made about her at her recent public appearances.

"I know that people are saying, 'All of a sudden, Song Hye Kyo looks older,' which is true, because I have aged. "—Song Hye Kyo, Elle Korea

Netizens couldn't get enough of Song's bold and colorful style, and many of them couldn't understand why people would criticize her for something as normal as getting older.

"She's just getting older on her own."

"If this is what getting old looks like, I want to get old like her!" She's so beautiful."

"The Koreans are so fixated on age… you get old when you get old…"

"Maybe the person who wrote that comment hasn't seen her in 30 years."

    "How old are you?! "
