Hwang Min Hyun revealed that the love he gave and received from his fans is helping him act in melodrama.

On May 19, Hwang Min Hyun released a part of a pictorial cut and an interview with her magazine 'First Look' and a Swedish naturalistic lifestyle brand 'La Burquet'.

In a clean space where only the warmth of sunlight, the calmness of the wind, the hardness of rocks, and the sparkle of water exist, Hwang Min Hyun is in charge of the last of the five elements of the universe and nature can confirm.

In addition to this pictorial cut boasting a clear and transparent atmosphere, Hwang Min Hyun conducted an interview that revealed a solid mindset. 

In his interview, Hwang Min Hyun picked 'reasonable and not much emotional change' as his common feature with the role of 'Seo Yul' in tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Happy Marriage', which is scheduled to be broadcasted for the first time on June 18.

Also, about acting in the melodrama, Hwang Min Hyun said, "I hear a lot of 'I love you' from my fans. Since love is not one-way, I learned to express as much as I receive and to give back. I received so much love from the fans, and now I can do well with the love I give. I think the love I gave and received with the fans is definitely helping my acting in melodrama.”

Hwang Min Hyun said, "I believe in myself. I always think that I have to believe in myself, and I think this might be the reason I can work for a long time. I always try to be honest and confident with myself, and even when faced with difficult situations, I say, as a habit, 'it's no big deal'. In that way, I believe in myself and go”

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
