    tvN’s 'Jirisan' is off to a positive start, but concerns arise.

    Nielsen Korea confined the first 2 episodes of Jirisan scored an average nationwide rating of 9.1 percent(first episode) and 10.7 percent (second episode), thus the drama achieved the highest ratings on all weekend drama in tvN history.

    In the first episode, Kang Hyun Jo (Ju Ji Hoon) was assigned to Jirisan National Park, where Seo Yi Gang (Jun Ji Hyun) was also working. The two worked together to save a boy who was missing in a storm. While finding the boy, the ability of Kang Hyun Jo to see the visions of the lost victims was revealed.

    The second episode envisions what will happen after 2 years in the 2020 Haedong office. It was shown that the formerly skilled ranger Seo Yi Gang is now in a wheelchair while Kang Hyun Jo is in a coma.

    Meanwhile, Jirisan was criticized for its poor CGI effects and soundtracks, along with its excessive product placements. Viewers are distracted from watching the show and they said that the show didn't live up to the budget.
